All About Our Preschool
"Education is the most powerful tool which you can use to change the world". Nelson Mandela
Welcome!
We are an in-home childcare licensed by the state of Michigan. We accept children from age 1-5 years, with a specialization in ages 2 to 5 years. During summer months, we do accept school-age children up to the age of 10.
Our Curriculum
At Messy Hands Preschool, we focus on hands on learning, many of which include getting our hands “messy.” Each week we will explore a theme tailored to the children’s interests. Throughout the week, children will work on literacy, early math, art, fine & gross motor skills to ready your child for kindergarten, all while having fun!

We utilize Experience Curriculum (formally Mother Goose Time) for our curriculum and assessments. Through this, we can personalize our curriculum based upon each child's developmental level. Parents have access to our lesson plans and observations through the Brightwheel app as well!
Our Day
Children thrive in a structured environment. We aim to provide this through our schedule. Children will have directed learning opportunities through circle time, small group and story time. In addition, children will have chances to explore and utilize their creativity through free play. After all, children learn through play!
